age 79, of Maple Grove, formerly Golden Valley.
Preceded in death by husband, John. Survived by sons, Kent (Daranee) and Bradley (Lorri); daughter, Patricia (Todd); grandchildren, Kelsey (Cy), Courtney, Dylan, Alan, Nick, Matthew and Angelina; great granddaughter, Madison; many beloved relatives and cherished friends.

Karen volunteered running the Golden Valley baseball concession stand for many years and was known as “Mom” to many of the boys who stopped for a snow cone. She worked at Daytons for many years and was a long time member of Spirit of Hope Church.

Funeral Thursday 10:30 AM at Spirit of Hope United Methodist Church, 7600 Harold Ave. N., Golden Valley. Visitation Wednesday 5-8 PM at Gearty-Delmore Plymouth Chapel, 15800 37th Ave N. @ Vicksburg Lane and Thursday at church one hour before service. Private Interment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Spirit of Hope or donor's choice
