Karen Marie Mundahl

Karen Marie Mundahl passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 29th at the age of 74.  Karen was born on April 1st, 1948 and was raised by her loving parents Evelyn and Herbert Mans.

Karen was married to her husband, Charles Mundahl, for 53 years.  Karen and Charles were known for their many road trips in retirement and spent time traveling the country for vacations, being snowbirds in South Padre Island, or to attend 1st Infantry Division reunions which were hosted annually all over the country.

Karen was a dedicated mother to her daughters Lisa and Nicole, and lived for her two grandchildren Luca and Brooklyn who were the light in her life.  Karen was thoughtful, kind, generous and a caretaker to so many over the years.

Karen is survived by her loving husband Charles, daughter Nicole (Mundahl) Cancialosi, son-in-law Michael Cancialosi, grandchildren Luca and Brooklyn, and her brother, Douglas Mans.

Karen was deeply loved by many extended family and friends and will be missed dearly.

A celebration of Karen’s life will be held at a later date.
