Stevens, Junneth

Age 101, formerly of Richfield. Born September 20, 1916, passed away December 27, 2017 at Summerwood of Plymouth Presbyterian homes.

June was born near Echo, MN to Ole Lecy and Anna Waller. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Orville, seven siblings, son Kurt Stevens, grandson Timothy Case.

Survived by Children, Patricia (John) Case, Mark (Becky) Stevens, Grandchildren Joshua (Kendra) Stevens, Rachel Nielsen, Leslie (Kent) Horkheimer, Jake (Hannah) Stevens, Benjamin Stevens, Great-grandchildren, Quin Stevens, Mason Stevens, Max Nielsen, Kai Nielsen, Luke Stevens, Blake Stevens.

June was an avid gardener and loved to play cards, especially five hundred and cribbage. She was an excellent seamstress making many of her own dresses. She played piano and volunteered her time in many activities at Mt. Calvary Lutheran church and school in Richfield.

In the spring, when the flowers that she loved are blooming, there will be a private family Memorial and a celebration of life at Lakewood Cemetery. A special thank you to Summerwood for their wonderful care.
