Joyce A. Trebisovsky

Joyce Trebisovsky, age 92 of Robbinsdale, passed peacefully September 6 after a brief illness.

She is preceded in death by husband of 63 years, Donald. 

Joyce is survived by sons Stephen (Susie), David (Shalini), daughter Suzanne Steinhauser, sister Delores DeMars, many grand and great-grandchildren. 

Joyce loved nature and the outdoors no matter the season, and knew the names of all flowers and birds. Gardening, mowing, trimming, painting, working with Don to build things brought her joy. She was a gifted singer and sang in choirs at 2 different churches, and was part of a group of men/woman who twice a month went to nursing homes to sing for the residents. 

 Family came first and being a seamstress she sewed at home for designer boutiques so she could be there at lunch and after school for their 3 children. She loved to cook and though willing to try new recipes always went back to her favorites. 

She loved sports and listening to Twins and Vikings games on the radio. When the Timberwolves started being on TV she knew all the players by number and first name, and followed anything Gophers in the newspaper. 

 Being in good health by eating right each day and getting outside was what she credited with turning 92 in July. She knew her time was coming and was ready to be with Don and the Lord whenever it happened. We will miss her but know she is at peace.
