Joyce (Hotal) Kranz
Joyce (Hotal) Kranz, age 88 of Crystal, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2019.
She was preceded in death by loving husband of 67 years, Rommie; brother, Robert (Helen) Hotal; sister, Marilyn Nelson; brothers-in-law, Howie Bauermeister and Bill (Louise) Kranz.
Joyce is survived by daughter, Diane (Pat) Goffin; son, Jim (Denice) Kranz; grandchildren, Melanie (Eric) Horner, Katie (Travis) Swenson, Chad (Felicia) Goffin, Keli (Shane) Schilling; great-grandchildren, Brittany, Devin and Easton, Kayler, Jace and Ashlyn, Jacob and Laci, Addie; brother, John Hotal; brother-in-law, Skip Nelson; sister-in-law, Evie Bauermeister; many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Joyce was born in Crystal, attended Robbinsdale School from kindergarten thru 12th grade. She also worked as an office employee, retiring from District #281 after 24 years of service. In 1996 she was among those honored as “pioneer” residents by Mayor Pete Meintsma, having never moved away from the City of Crystal. She loved animals, sunshine, travel and beautiful scenery.
