Joseph W. DiGiovanna Sr.

Of Palm Harbor FL, formerly of Plymouth. He is survived by his wife Adele, son Joe Jr. (Lucy Bosley), daughter Cathy (DiGiovanna) Yaniz (Jim), daughter Julie DiGiovanna; grandchildren Emily Yaniz, Jackson DiGiovanna and Matthew Yaniz; sister Joanna Houy (John), and special friends Mary Ann Dallas and David Johnston. Preceded in death by parents Jasper and Frances DiGiovanna. Joe was born in Springfield Ill. He graduated from St. Louis University where he met his wife of 59 years, Dellie. Joe had a long career with Sears and other retailers which brought the family to Plymouth for 43 years, moving to Florida in 2016. Joe was a member of the choir at St. Bartholomew’s Parish in Wayzata. He spent many summer days on his boat on Lake Minnetonka.

Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Monday, June 28, 2021 at the Church of St. Bartholomew, 630 E. Wayzata Blvd., Wayzata. Visitation at church one hour prior to Mass.
