John "Jack" H. Windsperger

John H. “Jack” Windsperger, age 87 of Minnetonka, formerly of Maple Grove and Ottertail, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2024.

Jack was born October 28, 1936 in Minneapolis to William “Bill” and Helen (Kitzman) Windsperger.  He married Carole A. Mantyla on February 2, 1959 in Mason City, IA.

Jack and Carole owned & operated Buchanan Lake Resort in Ottertail, MN for 26 years.  Upon retirement, they continued to enjoy life at the lake, as well as winters in Texas, Florida, and Arizona, prior to moving to Maple Grove in 2013.

Jack is survived by sons Bob & Dave (Stacy), daughter Vicki Dreyer; grandchildren Deniece & Darrin Dreyer, Mike & Julie Berger; great-grandchildren Jace & Paris Dreyer and nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his wife, Carole; parents; daughter Teri Berger; granddaughter Kristine Richie; brother, Jerry Windsperger.

Private family services will be held at Gearty-Delmore Chapel, 3888 W. Broadway, Robbinsdale.  Interment Gethsemane Cemetery, New Hope.
