John L. Truscott

John L. Truscott, 79, of Prior Lake, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2017.

John was preceded in death by parents, Harold and Hilda Truscott; brother, Wayne; son-in-law, Art Klavins.

He is survived by seven children, Sarah Grigaitis, Tom, Mary Altman (Dan), Margaret Klavins, Mike (Debbie), Joe and Colleen Fry; 19 grandchildren; five great grandchildren.

John graduated from Creighton University with a Pharmacy degree, and later owned drugstores in the Omaha, NE/Council Bluffs, IA areas.  He moved to Minnesota in the early 1990's where he continued to practice pharmacy until his retirement in 2005.

He was a thoroughbred horse mogul most of his life, breeding and racing horses up to the present time.

John loved his Catholic faith and attended Mass as often as he could and enjoyed participating in Mass all over the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.

He cared deeply about his family, especially his grandchildren.  He was interested in their lives and made time for all of their activities.

Visitation one hour prior to Mass (after 9am). Interment following at Resurrection Cemetery, Mendota Heights.
