John Philip Sauer
John Philip Sauer, of Plymouth, MN (previously residing in Colorado for the majority of his life), passed away on 8/19/21 of natural causes.
John was born January 20, 1940 to George and Opal Sauer in Denver, CO. He graduated from Steamboat Springs High School in 1958 and went on to enrich thousands of young minds in his more than twenty-five years teaching Mathematics at Fairview High School in Boulder, CO. John thoroughly enjoyed hunting, fly fishing, and his beloved Brittany Spaniels.
John is survived by son, Bryan (Robyn); grandchildren, Madison & Mason; and sister, Sarah Manchester. He also leaves behind many other loving relatives and friends.
Services will be held at 10:00am on Monday, August 30, 2021 at Sacred Heart of Jesus, 1318 Mapleton Ave., Boulder, CO 80304. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are welcome and should be made to the American Brittany Rescue at www.americanbrittanyrescue.org .
