John A. Obinger, age 94 of Plymouth, passed away August 24

Survived by son Art Obinger; sister Bernice Besonen; brothers-in-law and sisters–in-law; nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by wife Elaine; and brothers Ed, Frank and Walt Obinger.
John was a proud member of the CCC (Civilian Conservation Corps.) and a 3 ½ year veteran of WWII with the United States Coast Guard.
Funeral Thursday, August 30, 11 AM at Elim Lutheran Church, 3978 W. Broadway, Robbinsdale. Visitation Thursday beginning 10 AM at church. Interment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Elim Lutheran Church.
