John "Jack" A. Justice IX

September 14, 2000 — March 19, 2025

Minneapolis

Jack defied all odds when he took his first breath on September 14, 2000. Always down for a fun time, Jack’s life was filled to the brim with laughter, kitchen dance parties, cousin sleepovers, making art, going to the movies, and riding on the sidecar of his dad’s electric bike. He was a regular man about town who did not let his disabilities prevent him from an exciting adventure. Always quick with a smile, Jack lit up any room he wheeled into. You could always count on Jack for the best snuggles and his contagious laugh. When you were with Jack, all was right in the world.

Jack passed away peacefully on March 19, 2025 surrounded by his family, listening to The Beatles, and saying our bed time prayers one last time.

Jack leaves behind his loving and devoted parents, Colleen and Andrew Justice; three adoring younger siblings, Gracie, Paddy, and Frannie; doting grandparents, Tom and Pat Doyle, John (Jean) Justice, and Darlene Justice; aunts, uncles, and many cousins (who doubled as best friends), adventure buddy, Nadine; his very best friend, Theo, and his loyal puppy, George Bailey.

It is impossible to boil down Jack’s beautiful life to a couple of paragraphs.

Jack taught us all about kindness, humility, tenacity, and the dignity of all human life. Our sweet Jacky Boy will be missed beyond measure but the impact he has left on countless hearts will not be forgotten. Our family’s great sadness is a testament to the even greater love we have for Jack. You are my sunshine…
