John Eiden

Survived by the love of his life Annette; daughters Cindy Nygaard and Mary (Greg) Johnson; sons Dan (Treasure), Michael, Tom (Kathy), and Johnny (Natalie); grandchildren Brent (Jenn) Nygaard, Christina (George) Moutzalias, Jeff (Eowyn) Nygaard, Joe (Trina) Johnson, Tim (Crystal) Johnson, Andrea (Karl) Perlinger, Jeremy (Ann) Eiden, Beth (Brad) Meyers, Kim Eiden, David Eiden, Sherry (Seth) Scholz, and Bryan Olson; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers Leo, Glen, George and Warren; sisters Mona, Margie and Ellen.

Preceded in death by parents, Walter and Christina Eiden; siblings Kathleen, Esther, Lois, Alphonse and Sheila.

“There is a moment in our lives when we see one of the great riders, the look of perfect enjoyment on his face, at one with his machine.  The past and present blurring together, neither old nor young, but immortal in the moment.  Keep riding, John.”  We will never forget.

Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to St. Raphael’s Catholic School.
