Joe S. Hauglie

Joe Steven Haughlie of Crosslake, Minnesota passed after a hard-fought battle with cancer on May 9, 2018.  Born in Minot, North Dakota on January 5, 1955, he moved to Brooklyn Center, Minnesota in 1964 where he made lifelong friends.  He graduated from Park Center High School, attended the UW-Platteville and the University of Minnesota.  Worked at Control Data/Ceridian for 29 years with the last position as Project Manager.  Subsequently, he co-founded Priorities Defined, a home building and remodeling enterprise.  He spearheaded numerous events and charities.  He was also know the "The Ultimate Competitor" in sports and all aspects of life.  He had a passion for golf, music and trekking through nature with a zest for life.  Joe was always there to brighten the lives of others.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Laurel Hauglie; nephew, Philip Mumm.

Joe is survived by his wife, Pam (Dorn) Hauglie; son, Troy (Katie) Dorn; daughter, Aimee Nowak; grandsons, Kobe and Blake; sister, Sandra (Mark) Mumm; nephew, Neil (Anna) Mumm and many other family and friends..

He gave it his all and left us wanting more.
