Joan Marie Manning

Went home to be with the Lord on April 15, 2017.  Born June 16, 1936 in Robbinsdale, MN, Joan was the first deaf graduate of Robbinsdale High School.  She started at McGraw-Hill as an entry clerk and worked her way up to managing editor.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John; parents, Thomas and Gladys Shaw.

Survived by stepsons, John (Elizabeth) and Patrick (Sheri) Manning; granddaughters, Claire, Kristi and Julie; brother, Thomas Shaw; sister, Janet Porten; sister-in-law, Mary (Robert) Zickuhr; niece, Denise (Craig) Enright; nephews, Robert Shaw and Neil (Jennifer) Shaw; good friend, Norman Storvick; many cousins, relatives and friends, who sent prayers, cards, and blessed visits.  went home to be with the Lord on April 15, 2017.  Born June 16, 1936 in Robbinsdale, MN, Joan was the first deaf graduate of Robbinsdale High School.  She started at McGraw-Hill as an entry clerk and worked her way up to managing editor.
