Jeffrey E. Sybrant
Jeffrey Edward Sybrant, age 63 of Mpls, passed away peacefully at his home, Monday morning, Dec 2, 2019 surround by family and friends.
Jeff was born on Sept 15, 1956 to Howard and Shirley (Pierson) Sybrant, He grew up in Osseo with his 4 siblings and graduated from Osseo High School. He received his B.A. in Architecture from the University of MN, became a licensed architect and owned his own firm, Architects P.A. His work across the state will endure for years to come.
On June 17, 2017, he married his partner of 34 years, Rich Hamson. Jeff and Rich traveled the world with family and friends on adventure trips Jeff organized. After doing the Minneapolis to Chicago AIDS ride, Jeff’s passion became bicycling and he biked the world from the hills of Italy to “the world’s most dangerous road” in Peru, always pursuing more challenging routes and greater speeds.
Jeff was the glue that held his family and friends together. His love, his kindness, his generosity and sense of tradition will live on in our hearts forever.
He is survived by his spouse, Rich Hamson; his parents, Shirley and Howard Sybrant; sister, Jen Hagerman; brothers, Jon (Julie) Sybrant and Jerome Sybrant; sister, Jessica (Andrew) Sybrant-Karr, Kent Forrest and his amazing chosen family (you know who you are); nieces, nephews and many other family and friends.
