McDonald, Jeannine Ann, 59 of Robbinsdale and formerly of North Minneapolis, passed away on April 14, 2024 after an eight-month battle with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.
She graduated from Patrick Henry in 1983 and received her BS degree in 1988 and Masters degree in 1997 from Mankato State. She retired from the Minneapolis Public Schools in 2022 after 33 years as a PE teacher; was a proud member of the Robbinsdale & New Hope Lions Club and served as secretary for the MN Lions Childrens Cancer Foundation; avid State Fair and Giant Slide fan.
Jeannine was preceded in death by parents, Patrick and Mary Ann; brother, Timothy; grandparents; aunt; uncles & cousins. She is survived by fur baby, Phoebe; sisters, Colleen (Kenn) Patterson and Kathleen (Michael) Harasyn; bonus brother & sister-in-law, Jim & Suzy Patterson; nephews, Clayton (Ana) Patterson, Nathaniel (Gabby) Patterson, Alex Patterson, and Charlie Patterson, nieces, Kirstyn (Dylan) Oye and Jen Harasyn; great nieces & nephews, Lucas (her Grand Slam), Daphne, Zachary, Brandon, Arya, Annistyn, Lyla and Sophia; & many, many cousins and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial Saturday April 20, 2024 11:00 AM at the Church of the Sacred Heart, 4087 W. Broadway, Robbinsdale. Interment Glen Haven. Visitation Friday from 5-8 PM at Gearty-Delmore Funeral Chapel, 3888 W. Broadway, and also at church 1 hour before Mass.
