Jeanne Anderson Collison

Jeanne A. Collison, age 91, of Golden Valley, went home to her Heavenly Father on New Year’s Day.

Jeanne was born in Rochester, MN, near Haverhill Township and her grandparents’ farm. All agreed: “You can take Jeanne out of the country, but you can’t take the country out of Jeanne.”

She took pride in their achievements and adventures, cooked tasty meals from scratch, and created a happy home with antiques, beloved pets and festive holiday traditions.

Jeanne dearly loved her children, Tom (Elaine), Cathy (Klay), Lori and Susie (Ross) and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Herb, loving husband of 49 years and survived by Howard Foster, second husband, a blessing of happiness her last 13 years.

Celebration of Life, Tues., 1/10/17, 10:30am and lunch at 11:30am: Aldersgate UMC, 3801 Wooddale Av S, St. Louis Park.

Interment: Ft. Snelling, 1:00 pm.
