Janice "Jan" Altman

Passed peacefully at home, with her family surrounding her, on June 2nd 2016.

Jan, loved and enjoyed her family and friends including her 13 grandchildren.  She loved socializing whether in Arizona or at the Cabin on the Lake in Annandale, MN.  An avid  pickleball player, Jan enjoyed everything crafty, making many beautiful quilts.  She loved cooking and was famous for potato salad and sweet corn.

After 34 years working for Honeywell, Jan and her husband Jerry spent many fun years enjoying their retirement, travelling all over the U.S. in their motorhome.

She will be missed every day by all who loved and knew her.

Jan was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth and Henry Casper, brother Robert and Richard Bursey, her first husband.

She is survived by Jerry, her husband of 27 years, her daughter Lisa Bursey, her sons Todd Bursey,  and Kurt (Amy) Bursey, step children; Julie (Mark) Simacek, Mark (Char) Altman, Mary (Steve) Berg, Paul (Caroline) Altman and Laurie (Joe) Peterson, and grandchildren; Nolan, Rylan, Cullen, Alex, Christy, Lauren, Steele, Skye, Jett, Olivia, Nick, Jack and Charlee.

The family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to.
