Janet Nimmerfroh Daras
Janet Nimmerfroh Daras, of Plymouth (formerly of St. Louis Park) died peacefully from complications of Alzheimer’s on February 5, 2020, having recently celebrated her 81 st birthday. She was preceded in death by son Christopher Lehr and stepson Chris Daras, and by husband James Daras. She is survived by children Cynthia Lehr (Stephen Brill), Pamela Anderson (Carl Hampton), and Jeffrey Palmer (Susan), stepson Dimitri Daras (Mary Quick), and by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Janet grew up in Nordeast (All Saints), raised primarily by her father, Clarence Nimmerfroh, later Minneapolis Fire Chief, to whom she was devoted. Janet worked in accounting and property management, holding responsible positions with Edward F. Baker Associates and Hobbit Travel, among others. Mass of Christian burial Friday February 7 at 10:30 a.m., with visitation at 9:30 a.m., Holy Family Catholic Church, 5900 W. Lake St., St. Louis Park 55416. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Holy Family or to Sisters of Order of Saint Benedict, 104 Chapel Lane, St. Joseph MN 55374.
