James N. Elsen

James N. “Jim” Elsen, age 79, of Maple Grove, passed away suddenly on 7/25/24 from an abdominal aortic aneurysm.

Jim was preceded in death by cousin, Larry Elsen. 

He is survived by son, Robert; many family, friends and loved ones, including Kathy Elsen, Mark Elsen, Julie & Kimo Seymour, Amy, Chris, Emma and Jack Campbell and Jeanne Elsen.

After high school, Jim worked with his grandfather at D.J. Kranz and then went on to start his own business, “Timberwood Homes” and built homes for 33 years. Jim was an avid car collector and enjoyed many trips with car clubs.

 Jim was a loving father, caring friend and will be deeply missed. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Wed., August 7 at the Church of St. Joseph the Worker, 7180 Hemlock Lane, Maple Grove, with visitation one hour prior to Mass.
