James Milton Michaelson
Jim passed away August 8, 2019 at the age of 83. He worked at the Anoka/Hennepin School District for 30 years as a school food director. Preceded in death by Kathleen, his wife of 59 years who died November 2, 2018; parents, Milton and Evelyn; and brother, Greg. Survived by children, Steven (Linda), Scott (Sandra), Bruce (Aimee), and Brenda; grandchildren, Eric (Caitlyn and her two daughters, Audrey and Victoria), Chandelle, Rebecca, Daniel, Emily, Aaron, Bennett, and Charlie; sisters, Phyllis Michaelson, Kathy (Warren) Crane, Faye Johnson, and Joanne (Bernie) Thoring-Ojeda; nieces and nephews.
Visitation on Friday, August 16, 10:00 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial, 11 a.m., at Holy Name of Jesus, 155 County Road 24, Wayzata, MN. Interment Holy Name Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to IOCP, Interfaith Outreach and Community Partners.
