James Michael Lambertson

James Michael Lambertson of Saint Louis Park passes away suddenly on April 1, 2021.

James was the best Christmas present for his family when he was born on December 25, 1950 in Des Moines, Iowa.

James is survived by his three daughters, JoAnna (Jeff) Jensen, Jenny (John) Christensen, both of Estherville, Iowa, and Rebecca (Leroy) McGowan of Bloomington; grandchildren, Alex Jensen, Jess Christensen, and Joie Christensen all of Estherville; siblings, Faith (Norman) Huitt of Des Moines, Iowa and Rev. David (Julie) Lambertson of Yakima, Washington; many nieces and nephews; the mothers of his daughters, Marlis Tribby of Esterville, IA and Nancy Lambertson of Minnetonka.

James was preceded in death by his parents, George Lambertson and Irene (Lambertson) Plato; and a sister, Georgialee.

James will be remembered for his cast love of sports, espceially cheering on the LA Dodgers, great business mind, and love for his family.

His memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 19th at 12 noon at Lakewood Cemetery Chapel, 3600 Hennepin Avenue, Minneapolis with visitation being held at 11:30 AM prior to the service.
