Jacqueline “Jackie” Kay (Grams) Griffin passed away peacefully on September 8, 2023, surrounded by family, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born on October 2, 1952 in Minneapolis to Ken and Lou (Hermanson) Grams, Jackie attended Jenny Lind Elementary, Olson Middle School and Patrick Henry High School. In high school, Jackie was on the National Honor Society, Pastel Pats Danceline, and involved in numerous student organizations. And little did she know that the boy sitting next to her on their first day of high school would become her life’s love and companion for 50+ years.
Jackie went on to hold various positions at Partners in Pediatrics during her 37 year career, retiring from the human resources department in 2021. She loved to cook, travel, garden and spend time with her many close friends and family.
Jackie brought love and joy to the lives of her children and grandchildren. Her generous spirit, sense of humor, and ability to bring out the best in everyone, helped form the close bonds she shared with anyone who knew her.
Jackie is survived by her loving husband, Tim Griffin; daughter Amy (Tim) Lundell, and son Adam (Tyanna) Griffin; four grandchildren, Maggie, Tommy, Libby Lundell and Olivia Griffin; her mother Lucille Grams; her brother Tom (Anke) Grams; brother-in-law Tom Griffin (Nancy); sister-in-law Teresa (John) Edward; nieces Sasha Grams and Becky Edwards; and nephews Conner Grams and Ben Edwards. She is preceded in death by her father Kenneth Grams.
Visitation Friday (9/22), 1-4 PM with prayer service/memory sharing 4 PM at Gearty-Delmore Plymouth Chapel, 15800 37th Avenue North.
