Jack Eugene Greene

Jack Eugene Greene, 92, of Robbinsdale, passed away Wednesday January 29, 2025, at home. Jack served honorably in the Army 7th Infantry Division during the Korean War as a Forward Observer on the front lines. 

Jack was devoted to his family and was so very in love with Luella (Milton), his wife of 72 years. Jack was a proud North High School graduate and trained at Dunwoody Institute. He was a Tool and Die Maker, Machinist, and Mold Maker. As a boy, Jack was a Caddie at Golden Valley Country Club, and later in life he golfed in a league. 

He started his bowling career setting pins at Ascension Catholic School where he was paid 5 cents a lane. He participated in many bowling tournaments, winning a Dodge Charger in one and in another he bowled a perfect 300 game at age 72. 

Jack enjoyed watching football and loved playing 500 & cribbage. 

Jack is preceded in death by daughter Mary (Dale) Nord; granddaughter Rachael; parents Helen and Joseph Greene; siblings: Betty (Bob), Marcia (Joe), Lloyd (Betty), Don (Joyce), Shirley (Bob). 

Jack is survived by beloved wife Luella; brother Dale (Margaret); children Pat (Larry) Enwall, John (Betty), Mike (Wes), Tim (Paul), Chris; grandchildren Nate (Sara), Justin, Monica (Buck), Angella (Bob), Chase, and Colby; great grandchildren Abel, Reagan, Reece, Logan, Devan, and Ryan. 

Celebration of Life will be 10:30 am Wednesday, February 19th at Gearty-Delmore Robbinsdale Chapel, 3888 West Broadway, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment at Fort Snelling. 

Memorials preferred to Veterans of Foreign Wars or Disabled American Veterans (DAV).
