Jack graduated from North High and served in the US Army artillery unit, stationed in Europe during WWII. He retired in 1985 from NSP after a 32+ year career. Jack enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing golf. He was active in the Masonic lodge and was a longtime volunteer at the Animal Humane Society.
He was preceded in death by wife, Gloria, in 1968; and sisters, Wilma and Audrey.
He is survived by best friend, Bill Solberg; brother-in-law, Frank Blount; six nieces and many friends.
There will be a graveside service held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis in late September.
Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society.
