Irene M. Hatcher

Irene M. Hatcher, age 96 of Plymouth, formerly of Hamel, passed away peacefully October 20, 2019.

Irene was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to raising her 10 children and helping Frank on the family farm, she worked for the Wayzata Schools for 35 years and was an active volunteer at Holy Name Church, Hennepin County workhouse and IOCP.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank, grandson, Jake Hughes and 4 sisters (Striebel).

She is survived by children, Nancy (Dick) Gardner, Penny, Jim (Kulleen), Carol (Wes) Dunsmore, Rick (Carol), Randy (Joyce), Mary Jo (Steve) Hughes, Jane (Mike) Mattila, Laurie (Joseph) Merz, Jill and “4 ^th favorite son”, John (Elaine) Anderson; 15 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; many other relatives and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 am Saturday, Oct 26 ^th at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church , 155 County Road 24, Medina. Visitation beginning at 9 am. Interment Holy Name Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial preferred to Sharing and Caring Hands or IOCP .
