Houv Kaing

Kaing, Houv (Age 62) of Saint Paul, Minnesota passed away on Friday April 29, 2022. He was born in Battambang, Cambodia as the second son of Nay Kaing and Kim Taing. The Kaing family immigrated to the U.S.A in 1979; residing in the Saint Paul area for several decades.

He was proceeded in death by his parents: Nay Kaing and Kim Taing. He is survived by his devoted wife of 34 years: Teng [Ngauv] Kaing and loving son: Charlie (Jessica) Kaing. He is also survived by brothers: Leng Kaing and Meng Kaing, sister Chou Kaing; as well as many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.

Houv was a quiet, caring, thoughtful man who loved his family deeply. He was very hardworking; often sacrificing his own interests to provide the best for his family. Houv loved to eat good food and was always willing to try new restaurants. Living in the land of 10,000 lakes, Houv enjoyed fishing and walking, as well as watching several different sports. He had a minimalistic view of possessions, but was very generous to those he loved.

This man of few words will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
