Hong Le Hoang

Hong Le Hoang (née Le, Vietnamese name: Lê Thị Hồng) of Bloomington, died on August 7, 2016 after an illness.  She was born on January 18, 1939 in northern Vietnam.  With her family, she moved to southern Vietnam in 1954, the year that saw the division of the country.  For the next 30 years, she taught elementary school and raised four children.  She migrated to the U.S. in 1990 and helped raised seven grandchildren in Minnesota.

She was preceded in death by parents, stepmother, older brother, two half-sisters and a stillborn son.  She is survived by husband, Han; sister, Hoan (Huan); brother, Chi (Chuoc); son,s Tuan (My) and Anthony (Kristy); daughters, Selina (Cuong) and Melissa; grandchildren, Brenden, Briana, Shaina, Vinny, Dylan, Ryan and Cody - all in the U.S. - plus nine half-siblings in Vietnam and Austria.

Prayer service time will be announced.
