Helen F. Connell passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 28, 2019.
She was predeceased by husband Ric, daughter Kate Kurimay (Jim), infant son Peter, brother Wayne Hay, grandsons TJ and Spencer,and son in law Dick Bowman.
She is survived by children Terri Bowman, Tom (Peggy), Anita Whims (Mark), Jenn Houle (Leon), Lisa Flood (Mike), and Tim (Gina), son in law Jim Kurimay, together with 5 nieces and nephews, 39 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
Happily married to Ric for 69 years, Helen was a gracious, generous, loving, devoted, clever and funny wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She will always be remembered for her spunk and sass.
Her family greatly appreciates the loving care taken of her by the excellent staff at Rue de France, Jones Harrison in Minneapolis.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, April 8, 2019 at the Church Our Lady of Grace, 5071 Eden Ave in Edina, at 10:30 a.m. with visitation one hour prior. Being Lent, in lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to The Poor Clares, 421 4 th Street, Sauk Rapids, MN 56379, or Little Sisters of the Poor, 330 Exchange Street, Saint Paul, Minnesota 55102
