Hazel Rochelle Williams was born in Chicago, Illinois, on September 9th,1954, to union of Leonard and Charlene Williams. Hazel moved to Minneapolis, MN in approximately 2002 or 2003 to be with her daughter and grandchildren.
Hazel was a unique strong-willed woman who loved drawing; writing poems; reading; watching movies and TV shows such as: Hazel, Dennis the Menace Show, Walker Texas Ranger and many more along with listening to soul music. Her favorite artists were Michael Jackson, Chaka Khan, Whitney Houston and many more. But her favorite was Michael Jackson because she said his music helped her through the dark times in her childhood and good times in her adulthood.
Anytime Hazel's presents were made, the room would lighten up due to her smooth walk and funky style with her jokes and pranks. Hazel's spirit alone was always welcoming due to her calm gentle voice and her soft tissue touch. Hazel was reserved with a humble heart and a cheerful spirit!
Hazel transitioned in her home by natural cause in Saint Paul, MN, on June 21st 2022; rejoicing her parents: Leonard and Charlene, and siblings: Barbara, Laverne, Debra, Tony, and Leonard jr (Eric), leaving behind the remainder of the siblings, Cornelius (CJ), Jimmie, Sharon, and Christopher.
In loving memory, Hazel leaves behind her daughter, Pashen; granddaughter, Tyeka (Marvin), grandsons, Brian (Samantha), Elijah and Romelle, great-granddaughters, Zadaya, A'Myrical, Brae'lynn, Laraya and Evelynn; great-grandson, Elijah jr; special friend, Lee; and goddaughter, Tina along with many nieces, nephews and family.
