Harold J. Berry

Harold J. Berry, 96, of Wayzata, born in Lester Prairie, MN on Aug. 10, 1921, passed away Oct. 8, 2017.

He will be missed by his wife Eleanor (Melby) of 71 years. Harold leaves behind sons, Ronald (Mary) Berry and Richard (Kathy) Berry; daughter, Susan (David) Raasch. Harold had six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wallace and mother, Margaret of Lester Prairie, MN; two brothers and one sister.

Harold served 10 ½ years with the 8th Army Air Corps/Air Force: 4 years at Duxford Airbase in England during WWII and 6 ½ years stateside.

Harold retired after 30 years working at Ford Motor Company’s St. Paul assembly plant as a quality control inspector.

Visitation one hour prior to the service. Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
