Geraldine Pahr Wagenhals

Geraldine "Gerry" Pahr Wagenhals, age 101, of Golden Valley, most recently St. Paul, passed away on March 25, 2023.  She is preceded in death by husband Howard and survived by daughters Lynn (Steven Hodulik) of St. Paul and Susan of Buffalo, MN, and several nieces and nephews.

Born and raised in Minneapolis, Gerry graduated with honors from North High School and from the University of Minnesota with a BA degree (major in Architecture, minors in French and Fine Arts).

Throughout her life, Gerry's talents in music (piano) and art and design were on display.  She was also active in community service as Secretary of the Robbinsdale School District PTA; president and vice president of the Friends of the Golden Valley Library; and member of the Advisory Board of Practical Nursing at North Hennepin Community College; Golden Valley's Building Board of Review (28 years); Golden Valley Federated Women's Club; Alpha Alpha Gamma, the Association of Women in Architecture; Optimisses Club of Golden Valley; and Great Books Club.

She was active in the Kelly Drivers 4-H Club and was the piano accompanist of the club's chorus, with husband as conductor.  She also played piano in the Born To Be Great band.

After a private service at Fort Snelling, Gerry will be laid to rest.
