George L. Smith

George L. Smith age 77 of Maple Grove.

George served with the Robbinsdale Police Deptment for 28 years retiring as a sergeant.

Survived by his loving wife, Noreen; children, Lisa Gardas, Renee (Nathan) Kreye, Robb Smith, Kyle (Amanda) Smith and Jared Smith; grandchildren, Cody Gardas, Grace and Jack Kreye; brothers, Don (Marie) Smith and Robert Smith; many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by grandchildren, Jayden and Harper Smith; parents, Dorothy and Lester Smith; sister, Deanna Smith.

Memorial service 2:00 PM, Friday at Gearty-Delmore Robbinsdale Chapel, 3888 West Broadway, Robbinsdale.  Visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral chapel.

Memorials are preferred to the family.
