George E. Page

George Edward Page was born in April 14,1945 to George J and Eileen (Scharmer) Page. He went to school at Our Lady of Victory, graduated from Osseo High School, and he earned his Masters degree in Polymer Chemistry from Augsburg College.

He served in the US Army from 1965 to 1967 where he was trained as a chef and enjoyed cooking the rest of his life. He was in Vietnam for one year, and as a cook for an evac hospital, fed the generals also.

George married Theo (Guy) on December 2nd, 1967. They lived in Robbinsdale, MN and had one daughter, Angelique. He worked for 30 years at 3M and retired in 2002. He loved to fish every chance he could get. When he retired, he would pick Theo up at work, but first would spend several hours fishing, usually at Theodore Worth Lake. His pride and joy was the 400lb shark he caught in Florida.

George enjoyed singing; was a cantor, sang in church choir, weddings and funerals. He sang with the 3M male chorus for some 20 years, and also enjoyed singing around the campfire.  Other activities he enjoyed were flying kites, camping, traveling, watching football, wrestling, cartoons and following NASCAR with his daughter. He was handy at home and liked working on his cars.

He is survived by his wife Theo (Guy) of 48 years, his daughter Angelique (Steven) of Orlando, FL, brother Tim (Brenda) of Henning, MN, and sister Shery (Bob) of New York Mills, MN.  He is preceded in death by parents, two brothers, a sister and three nieces.
