George Eugene Laurance

Laurance, George, of Minnetonka, passed away on February 2nd at the age of 80. George was born on February 28, 1942 in Richmond Heights, Missouri.  George was an active member of the church St. Mary of the Lake, part of pro-life ministries, a mentor to the youth, and a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Serra club.

He is survived by loving wife, Barbara; son, Daniel (Kelly); daughter, Julie; stepsons, Gregory, and Kevin; grandchildren, Jessica, Brady, and Natalie; step grandchildren, Keith, Andrew, Kyle, Brett, and Ryan Hertzenberg; and many other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by mother, Audrey; sister, Susan Miller; and many other family and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday February 9th at 11:00 am, at the church of St. Mary of the Lake, 105 N Forestview Ln, Plymouth, MN. Visitation 1 hour before. Burial at Fort Snelling in the spring.
