Gary Loren Schiebe

Gary Schiebe, age 78, of Plymouth passed away on April 3rd, 2018  at home surrounded by loving family after being diagnosed with mesothelioma cancer in May 2017.

Survived by loving wife of 59 years, Pat; sons, David (Mary) and Darrick (Lynne); daughters, Laura (Shawn) King and Lisa (Steve) Cole; grandchildren, Cassie, Stephanie, Ben, Michael, Megan, Courtney, Cameron, Carson, Adam/Adison and Brianna; four great-grandchildren plus one on the way; brothers, Lowell (Mary Ann), Jeff (Fran) and Sheldon (Mary);  nieces, nephews, many relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by parents, Harvey and Fern. Gary was a great man and an icon who will never be forgotten in the communities of Plymouth and Wayzata. He will truly be missed, but remembered fondly by so many.

Celebration of Life will take place at Plymouth Creek Center, 14800 34th Ave N, Plymouth, Friday, April 27, 12-4 pm. Lunch served at 1:00 pm followed by a tribute.

Gary’s wish was to enjoy a last ride in his Model T cars with family and friends. Everyone is welcome to join.

Private interment at Holy Name of Jesus Cemetery in Medina.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Mayo Clinic Cancer Research or Park Nicollet Hospice Care.
