Gary MacLennan

Gary was born in Mpls., MN. He was a graduate of North High School, Dunwoody Technical Institute, and a veteran of the US Navy. Gary was a 55+ year member of IBEW Local 292 and a longtime member of MSRA Car Club. Preceded in death by parents, Francis and Rose, and siblings, Joyce, Russ, and Fran. Survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Beverly; sons, Gordie (Cindy), Rick (Susan), Tim, Todd (Wendy), and daughter, Barb (Jeremy) Hegvik; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; brothers, Howard and John; and sisters, Merle and Doris. Gary lived his life to the fullest. He and Beverly enjoyed spending time with family, going to the casinos, and wintering in Arizona. He also enjoyed restoring old cars and attending car shows in his treasured 1957 Chevy. Gary was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend who will be dearly missed. Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Alzheimer's Disease Research.
