Gary Clarence Hofstad
80, of Golden Valley, passed away on May 2nd 2018.

Gary was the husband of Gleniss Hope Hofstad. They shared 58 years of marriage together. Gary, along with Gleniss, owned a magazine company. They spent many summer days at their cabin on Lake Ida in Alexandria, MN that they owned for 30 years.

He enjoyed fishing, boating, gambling and traveling. He will be remembered for his love of family, his sense of humor and his strong will.

He is survived by his spouse, Gleniss; children, Gary (Kate) and Mark; grandchildren, Matthew, Chloe, Michael and Henry; siblings, Jeanette, Jean and Dennis; and cousins, Dean, Don and Diane. He was preceded in death by his daughter in law, MaryAnn.

The visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 pm on Monday, May 7th at Gearty-Delmore Chapel of Plymouth, 15800 37th Ave. N. Prayer service at 6:00 , light supper to follow.
