Gary B. Anderson, 80, Plymouth, MN.  Passed away July 7, 2020, at home surrounded by family.

Gary was a third-generation railroad man, serving the Great Northern Railroad as a cook and a signal-maintainer. He attended St. Cloud College and the University of Minnesota and served in the Artillery Branch of the Army National Guard.

He was employed for twenty years each by Gresen Manufacturing and DataCard Corporation as an industrial buyer. Gary’s interests included photography, golf, small game hunting, and gardening. He was an avid World War II history buff.

Gary married Norma Jean Olson in 1962 and together they had two children – Betheny and Derek. He married his second wife, Judie, in 1974, and together they raised her two sons, Eric and Damian.

He is survived by his wife Judie; daughter Betheny Wyandt (Russell); sons Derek Anderson (Tracey), Eric Kielb (Nancy Logan), and Damian Pearson; granddaughter Nichole Schally (Jake) and grandson Bryce Wyandt (girlfriend Kristina Netz); and great-granddaughter Isla Schally, the light of his eye. He is preceded in death by parents Burton and Winnifred Anderson, sister and brother-in-law Carol and Gordy Lupfer, and brother Burt Anderson, all of Litchfield, MN.

Prayer service: 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 17,2020, Gearty-Delmore, 15800 37th Ave N, Plymouth. Visitation one hour before. Memorials preferred to American Diabetes Assn., diabetes.org, or American Liver Assn., liverfoundation.org .
