Frances “Fran” (Hagemann) Theisen, age 92 of New Hope, passed away on January 24 th , 2021. Fran was born in St. Joseph, Minnesota and graduated from South High School in Minneapolis. She spent many hours volunteering through the years. She volunteered at North Memorial Hospital giving out communion to patients. She volunteered at Caring and Sharing Hands and also helped clean the bakery at the Cookie Cart in North Minneapolis. Fran also maintained the two chapels at St. Therese.
Survived by sons, Robert Jr., Michael (Pamela); daughters, Jean (Douglas) Schatz, Patricia (Richard) Scholl; son-in-law, Craig Hershberger; 12 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Norma Swanson. Preceded in death by husband of 64 years, Robert P. Theisen, Sr.; son, Mark; daughters, Diane Hershberger and Mary Nielsen; daughter-in-law, Janet Theisen; son-in-law, Arthur Nielsen; parents, Joseph C. Hagemann and Theresa (Schwab) Hagemann; father-in-law, John L. Theisen, Sr.; and mother-in-law, Marion A. (Groeschen) Theisen.
Visitation Thursday, 1/28/21 at Gearty-Delmore Robbinsdale Chapel, 3888 W. Broadway Ave., 8:30-9:30 AM with Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM at the Church of St. Alphonsus, 7025 Halifax Ave N., Brooklyn Center. Interment Gethsemane Cemetery, New Hope. A live-stream of the Mass will be available on St. Alphonsus’s website. In lieu of flowers, donor’s choice donations may be made in Frances’s memory.
