Ethel, age 103 of New Hope, MN passed away on April 1, 2017.
Preceded in death by husband, Harry Varner, (father of Mary and Sharon); husband, Thomas Petersen; daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Edward Pelant; 7 siblings.

Survived by daughter, Sharon Pelant (Bob); sister, Irene Hayes; grandchildren, Juli, Jodie, Matthew, Charles, Mark, Michael, John, Amy, Sara; 25 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian burial Saturday, April 8, 2017, 11 am at the Church of St. Joseph the Worker, 7180 Hemlock LN N, Maple Grove, with 10 am visitation.

Interment Gethsemane Cemetery, New Hope, MN.

Memorials preferred to Pastoral Care at St.Therese of New Hope.
