Elwood Swanson

Born in Aitkin, MN.

Preceded in death by parents Arthur and Nannie; brothers Arnold (Arlene), Chester (Dorine); sisters Irene Hanson (Chester) and Harriet Sanbeck.

Survived by Bonnie, his beloved wife of 50 years; daughter Susan Swanson (Mike Ashton); and many loving relatives and friends.

Elwood served in the Army 1947-1948.   He worked for Hennepin County for 30 years.

He volunteered many hours at libraries, nursing homes, church and enjoyed being a Ham Radio operator.

Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to ELCA World Hunger at PO Box 71764, Chicago, IL  60694 or Calvary Church.
