Elizabeth Ann “Betty” Walsh
age 86 of Plymouth, passed away December 16, 2020. She is preceded in death by husband, Jerome “Jerry”; her parents, Francis and Florence Archer; and sisters, Margaret Casey and Dorothy Hippin. Survived by children, Annette Forster, Scott (Sylvia) Walsh, Steve Walsh, and Lisa (Mike) Cline; grandchildren, Brook, Alex, Lauren and Alaina; great grandson, Ethan; brother, FJ Archer; other relatives and friends.
Betty was born Oct 25, 1934 in Murdock, MN. After graduating, Betty attended nursing school in Michigan, but came back early to care for her ailing mother. She married Jerry, who was also from Murdock, and they were married 46 years. Betty was a longtime resident of Plymouth, MN. Jerry and Betty spent summers at their lake home in Perham, MN and winters in Florence, AZ.
She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She had a loving and tender heart and was dedicated to her family. Betty loved animals, traveling, golf, bowling and working out at the fitness center nearby. She was strong in her faith and a devote Catholic.
The family would like to thank the wonderful Doctors and Nurses at North Memorial Medical Center.
A family Mass will take place on Dec. 23, 2020 at 10:00 am at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, Plymouth. A recording of the Mass will be available on the link above.
