After a life filled with hard work, perfect bowling scores, a hole-in-one, and cherished moments with his beloved and potentially growing family, Eduardo (Eddie) Nioko Jonson peacefully passed away at United Hospital on August 14, 2024.
As a self-described natural born athlete, Eddie found passion in bowling, golf, gardening, home improvement projects, hours of exercise at the YMCA and describing his athleticism.
Eddie was warm-hearted and filled with laughter. He cherished his grandchildren and showered them with care and abundant smiles. Though demanding and sometimes short-tempered with his children, his firmness helped shape their resilience and strength. His demonstration of purpose inspired them, and his moments of kindness and compassion were cherished. Eddie and his wife experienced decades of love, journeying back home, exploring the Holy Land, and enjoying countless weekend trips to Brainerd. He leaves us all with lasting memories.
As a first generation immigrant, Eddie was proud to provide his family with opportunities that he never had himself. Eddie was always there to support his grandchildren in all of their adventures. He was always there to support his family.
Eddie is survived by his beautiful wife Adelina Jonson, his sons Jasper, Kristoffer and Alexander, daughters-in-law Nina, Yiling and Alanna, five enchanting grandchildren, Zinnia, Adella, Eden, Liliana, and Quintilius and a few never to be seen again recipes.
Please join us as we celebrate Eddie’s life. In lieu of bringing flowers or gifts to Eduardo's celebration, we ask that you keep him in your thoughts now and in the future and bring him flowers in the many months and years to come at Gethsemane Cemetery.
