DuWayne Hallberg

DuWayne M. Hallberg "Dewey", a long time New Hope resident went to be with the Lord January 8, 2018 at age 82.

Dewey graduated from Benson High School and earned his carpentry apprenticeship at Dunwoody Institute while serving in the National Guard.  His second career was 26 years as custodian at Park Center High School.    He was also a 47 year faithful member of Pilgrim United Methodist Church.

Preceded in death by parents, Hjalmer and Bernice Hallberg; sister-in-law, Vivian Hallberg.  He is loved and will be deeply missed by Ethel Mae, his wife of 56 years; son and daughter-in-law, David and Tara; grandchildren, Cadyn and Talyn; brother, Luverne and many other family members and friends.

Visitation 1 hour prior to service at church. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to PUMC Youth.
