Douglas Alan Clair passed away unexpectedly on February 14, 2025, at home in Robbinsdale at the age of 52. Douglas is survived by his wife, Jocelyn Clair, of Robbinsdale, two children: Jenna Clair of Ham Lake and Nash Clair of Robbinsdale, parents: Alan Clair of St. Francis and Kathleen (William) Broeckert of Brooklyn Park, half-sister, Brittany (Chris) Johnson of Waconia, as well as many other relatives and friends.
Doug was born on September 15, 1972, the son of Alan and Kathleen (Stahl) Clair in Minneapolis. Doug grew up in Fridley and graduated from Fridley High School with the class of 1991.
After a nine year courtship, Doug married Jocelyn Gordon on June 20, 2024 in Las Vegas. They were blessed with a son, Nash, and made their home in Robbinsdale. They were also blessed with a daughter, Jenna, from Doug's previous marriage.
Doug acquired a lot of great skills over his working years. In January of 2024 he started a small side business as a handyman. He quickly earned a solid reputation and his business rapidly expanded. He was excited most recently about working as a maintenance technician for Sail Property Management Company.
Doug had a very engaging personality and made friends wherever he went. He kept us all entertained with his stories and wonderful sense of humor. Doug was devoted to his family and friends and cherished his wife and children. He will be dearly missed and never forgotten.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Sunday, June 8th at Crystal VFW located at 5222 Bass LakeRoad in Crystal.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be greatly appreciated.
