Doug Courts

Doug Courts (Anoka, MN), died peacefully of natual causes on Tuesday, January 9th.  Doug was 58 years young.

Doug is survived by his brother Steve Courts (Johnstown, CO) and his three sisters:  Robin Courts (Naples, FL), Elizabeth Donley (Fargo, ND), and Susan Cigelske.  He is preceeded in death by his mother Barbara Courts, his father Robert Donley and his step-father, Robert Courts.

Doug graduated from St. Louis Park (MN) High School and received a bachelor’s degree from UW River Falls (WI).  Doug cared deeply about the world and the people in it.  He expressed this care through the hundreds of poems and songs he wrote over the years.  He also loved camping and all things Minnesota sports.  He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
