Doris L. Burg

Doris Lucille (Meissner) Burg, age 89 of Richfield, passed away on Tuesday, June 1 ^st .

Doris was born in Spooner, Wisconsin on February 22, 1932, the youngest child of Henry and Amelia Meissner.  After graduating from Spooner High School, she moved to St. Paul to attend the St. Paul Bible Institute (now Crown College).  She graduated and worked for Buick Motors until she married her beloved husband Edgar Allen Burg on May 25, 1957.  They enjoyed 61 years of married life together until “Eddie’s” death in November of 2018.  She was a devoted wife, amazing homemaker, cook and hostess, and adored her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Doris is survived by her 3 sons Kenneth (Jane), Randall (Debbie) and Larry (Nancy); her grandchildren Sarah, Matthew, Jennifer, Chad, Tyler, Lydia, Andrew, Lindsey and Diana;  great-grandchildren Rowen, Ruby, Leonidas and Eleanor; brother-in-law Ernie Seiffert; brother-in-law David Burg; sister-in-law Margaret Burg; and brother-in-law Dennis Trembly.

She also looked forward to reuniting in heaven with her parents, brother Arden, sisters Lorraine and Shirley, and especially Eddie and her Savior Jesus Christ.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for 11 a.m. on June 12 ^th at Parkside Church, 9560 Paradise Lane,  Waconia, MN, with visitation starting at 10:00 am.
