Donna Marie Battaglia
Donna Marie Battaglia, of St Louis Park, passed away on June 2, 2019.
She was born on April 8, 1931 to Angelo and Sarah Battaglia. She was raised in Minneapolis and graduated from St. Margaret’s Academy.
She is preceded in death by brothers, Carl, Joe and Tony; sister Pauline and nephews Jeffrey Battaglia and Andrew Beddor.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Mary; 18 nieces and nephews and their families and many friends.
Donna was a woman of great faith and her love of the church never wavered. She loved to bake, iron and clean her house. She was happiest spending time with her friends and family and she always appreciated a good meal. She was a dedicated volunteer with “Dinner at your Door” as well as at Most Holy Trinity Church and Christ the King Catholic Church. She was incredibly proud of her Italian heritage and of her large, extended family.
She will be greatly missed.
A special thanks to the wonderful, loving staff of Ecumen Hospice and Village Shores for the care and attention that they showed Donna during her final days.
