Donald David Walter, age 81, of New Hope, passed away Mon., Nov. 18, 2019 after his long struggle with Parkinson’s/Dementia.
Very active with the Basilica of St. Mary, Don loved camping, dancing, his grandchildren and family times. He served in the US Navy from 1955 to 1959, of which he is very proud.
He was preceded in death by sisters, Eleanor and Mary Ann; stillborn sister, Barbara Mae; brother, David.
Don is survived by wife and best friend, Marilyn; children, Cindy (Carlos) Manjarrez, Steven (Lisa) Walter, Jennifer (Scott) Mobley and Barbara Walter; former wife, Mary; stepsons, Jay (Sue) Sifferle and Scott (LeeAnn) Sifferle; many grandchildren and step grandchildren; sisters, Elaine, Beverly and Joanne; brothers, Gene, Dan and John; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorials preferred to St. Therese Care Center in New Hope or to St. Vincent de Paul at the Basilica of St. Mary.
